Social Distancing Journal, Days 358 thru 362

 Day 358: Saturday, March 6

So Asa and I had gone to Disney a few days before, and gotten one of those mini mango pies at the Yak and Yeti counterservice place. First off, the mini mango pies are awesome. But, they come sealed and nearly frozen, making it perfect to throw in your backpack and bring home. Back in the "before times" I never really brought Disney home. But now, it's like all I want to do. (I should have bought two!) Anyway, Asa made us steak and lobster ravioli for date night dinner at our table, and then we had mini mango pie for dessert.

Day 359: Sunday March 7

It was a coldish morning..

...but we still took our usual Sunday morning bike ride.

We've been taking picnic lunches with us, too.

Just a little fruit, cheese, meat and wine. It's like a Bachelor date!

We also brought some apples along to feed Higgins, the cow, but he was nowhere to be found. (In fact, we haven't seen him in a couple weeks now!)

Asa was disappointed.

We also started and finished another puzzle.

And grilled out for dinner.

Plus, cooler weather makes for nice hammock time.

And for dessert we made beignets.

Mickey ones at that (You just cut the cafe du monde dough with a Mickey cookie cutter and it's like you're at Port Orleans!)

Day 360: Monday, March 8

Hayden and I decided to go ahead and make this our Spring Break week. But we didn't plan anything too exciting, so we got bored. We walked the loop four times on Monday.

Day 361: Tuesday, March 9

So Tuesday we did some other fun things, like tennis Tuesday on the newly resurfaced courts at the lodge.

And we started working on an art project outside.

We're going to need A LOT more lids, though.

We also played some Mario Party.

And made a ton of veggies for dinner. Yummy.

Oh, and then we watech Gwen's high school band concert.

Day 362: Wednesday, March 10

Another veggie dinner I loved the purple sweet potatoes from the misfits box.

And we took some more walks. Hayden has spent the last year making friends with all the neighborhood cats, who now come up to him looking for pets. (He knows most of their names, too- and if he doesn't, he gives them names).
