And then in Trump news we had that absolutely ape-shit press conference. What the hell was that today you guys? NBC news reporter asks what he'd tell worried Americans, rattled off some numbers and somehow Trump saw that as a person attack, called it a nasty question, and went off. Like, who even does that?
563 for Florida today, so we topped 500 cases. We're so close to Bingo! DeSantis signed an order this afternoon to close all resturants dine in services and gyms (yup, Florida was still doing that). We can order delivery and get take out, and we can even get our alochol delivered. But no more dine in. For reference/perspective, we've got about half the population of California, and about half the amount of cases as them, spread out over a little more than a third of land mass. And California is sheltering in place. While we're still going to beaches! At least our Seminole Hard Rock Casinos finally agreed to close. A couple of counties have shelter in place orders. Miami-Dade and Broward, maybe Palm Beach, I think. They keys are also asking everyone to leave. But still no state mandate for anyone. DeSantis said he doesn't want to close everything down. People still have to golf after all!
Today's winner for the most crowded beach goes to Siesta Key! It should be closed tomorrow, along with a bunch of other beaches. So all those fun Spring Breakers can head back to all the responsible states.
The silver linning for today: I hear billboards are going up around Tampa Bay to announce Tom Brady signing with the Buccaneers today. And since I can't go anywhere, I don't have to look at them!
Lets do our daily garden check. I've got a ton of zucchini you guys. I'm going to be dishing them out to neighbors. And my sunflowers grew like an inch overnight.
Peppers are really moving along too. It's getting hot there, so the peppers will take off soon!
Only harvest today was one little tomato. But that's ok! Since I went to the store yesterday, I have plenty of fresh produce, though we are down to 8 bananas.
Peyton was out on the porch, eating dry fruity pebbles, in his pajamas at one PM. I'd like to say this is coronavirus related, but this is pretty par for the course.
Asa and I played some boggle on the back porch, and then everyone played some basketball.
Today's grandma-zoom-meeting-for-math gets a special guest appearance from Uncle Clint, who appeared by speaker phone on grandma's end. He must be getting desperate. They asked for Cort and Holly's Disney Plus password.
Since Wrestlemania was canceled, we got Hayden Animal Crossing (the tickets were a Christmas present, so we wanted to do at least something to help 'replace' the gift).
Most exciting part of the day: Mayble caught a lizard on the back porch, which then got away, which she then caught again. Gross.
We are taking bets on when we think Disney is going to open back up.
And Friday night is date night, so Asa and I "went out for dinner and a movie" (or maybe lobster ravioli, coconut shrimp, and rented Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.)
Lets check our Bingo board, we checked a few off today: Florida shut down it's resturant, and Florida passes 500 cases, plus an entire state shuts down, and Disney announced they're releasing Onward WAY early, in just a couple weeks on Disney Plus. Trump signs the Coronavirus Releif Bill and we've got ourselves a bingo, people.
Disney plus movies today: Tangled, Moana, Ratatouille. Apparently I'm not alone in my Tangled watching.

Boredness scale 1 to 10: 2. We're still doing fine. But, we're only a week in.
