It's Been A Minute

I have not blogged in awhile. I'm talking like two months behind-  I'm like three trips, a million random things, and one major life event (we had to say goodbye to our Ellie Belly) behind. So, everything is disjointed and weird, but we're going to do our best to spend the next couple days catching up- because, oddly enough, there's Chess Club tomorrow night, but the next three days have virtually nothing else on the calendar. And this house needs a normal week (still not normal- we're overnight in Orlando and have the weekend packed already). But, you know, I'm kind of on the mindset of something is better than nothing. Even if pictures won't upload, everything is all out of order, and there's just an informational caption instead of an entertaining blog.

So, here we go. The Harvisons donated some computer chairs down here, and everyone was in the living room trying them out.

The Phillies were in (but lost) the World Series (or playoffs, or whatever), so we enjoyed Schwarberfest and Gobblers!!

Random dog pictures (which are now so sad without my Ellie).

It got cool enough to open the french doors, which we very much enjoyed.

Did I mention we've been busy? Like, hardly any days where there isn't anything on the calendar- which means that's when you have to get house/errands things done. And, we're getting too old for that. It really wears us out.

I had some markets at the Dad City Farms Fall Festival that I was hooked up with (for free) thanks to my library connections. Some days were better than others, and some were downright crappy (though I always made something), but at least there were animals there to hang out with even if there weren't many customers.

We had game night at Dom and Nandos.

And real cheap cold foams. Those were the days. I kind of miss those.

We made it to some high school football games to see Hayden's friend, and offer some support.

(Oh my broken heart).

Dom had hsi own personal crafting with Corinne class.

We made it to Bee Coffee for some lunch.

How could you not miss her brindle stripes and her white paws and her lovable squishy face.

A morning cold enough for slippers.

Asa dropped Dom and Nando off at the airport.

We started our volunteering at the shelter and had training for learning the process of walking the pups.

A lunch date to International Plaza.

Another game.

Another Marker (at the Old Lutz school. this was just an ok market for me).

A Purple Haze at First Watch... you know what that means.....

... T'Ola was in town for a visit.

Taco parties for football season have been a thing. Vince and the Harvisons almost always attend, everyone else swings by sometimes. Still the count after 7 weeks stood at nearly 300.

Another cold morning, snuggled with Ellie on the couch. She sure loved a good blanket.

And, we made fliers for Dom's Halloween Party to hand out.

Next up: Saint Augustine.
